The SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 is a game-changing, freestanding three-phase string inverter designed to simplify and streamline commercial and industrial (C&I) solar installations. With a power output of 50,000W (50kW) and six independent MPPT inputs, the CORE1 delivers best-in-class design flexibility, unmatched installation speed, and world-class efficiency—making it one of the most trusted inverters for large rooftop, carport, and ground-mount systems.
 
The CORE1's all-in-one freestanding design is the first of its kind, eliminating the need for complex racking or wall mounting. It can be installed directly on flat roofs or concrete pads without additional hardware, reducing labor costs and speeding up deployment—especially on commercial rooftops and solar carports.
 
With up to 98.0% CEC efficiency and 12 direct string inputs, the CORE1 supports longer string lengths and more complex system layouts. Integrated DC and AC disconnects, fuse holders, and SMA Smart Connected technology ensure streamlined system configuration, simplified maintenance, and rapid service response.
 
The inverter’s six maximum power point trackers (MPPTs) allow for distributed array configurations and fine-tuned optimization across diverse tilt angles or orientations. This makes it especially useful for projects with non-uniform surfaces or partial shading.
 
With secure remote monitoring via SMA Sunny Portal and SMA Data Manager, the CORE1 offers real-time visibility, automated fault detection, and performance reporting to support operations and maintenance teams. Built-in string-level monitoring, arc fault detection, and compliance with UL 1741-SA, IEEE 1547, NEC 2020 Rapid Shutdown, and Rule 21 make the CORE1 a fully code-compliant and utility-interactive system component.
