As part of the acclaimed GEN24 Plus series, the 10.0 model offers a 10,000-watt AC output capacity, making it ideal for large solar arrays, energy-intensive households, or electrified homes with EVs, batteries, and smart appliances. The dual MPPT inputs allow for complex array designs, including multiple roof orientations or split arrays.
 
One of its most valuable features is its dual backup functionality:
  • The PV Point provides basic emergency power (via a dedicated outlet) even without a battery, keeping essentials like lights or internet running during daytime outages.
  • With a compatible high-voltage battery system (e.g., BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM), the inverter enables full-home or partial backup, delivering clean, quiet, uninterrupted power during blackouts.
 
The DC-coupled architecture of the GEN24 Plus 10.0 ensures higher system efficiency, with less energy lost in conversion compared to AC-coupled setups. Combined with Fronius' active cooling system, this inverter maintains peak performance, even in high-temperature environments, prolonging component life and reducing the risk of thermal derating.
 
Connectivity and system management are handled through Fronius Solar.web, with built-in Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and RS485 interfaces. The GEN24 Plus also integrates with third-party energy management platforms and Fronius' smart home solutions like the Ohmpilot for water heating and smart meters for real-time consumption control.
