Canadian Solar EP Cube – Modular All-in-One Energy Storage for Modern Homes
 
The Canadian Solar EP Cube is a sleek, fully integrated, and modular AC-coupled energy storage system designed for seamless backup power, solar integration, and intelligent home energy management. Built by EP Cube Technologies (a subsidiary of Canadian Solar), the system offers stackable battery modules, flexible installation options, and native support for whole-home or partial backup.
 
Each EP Cube starts with a base inverter cabinet that can be stacked with up to four battery modules, providing a usable capacity ranging from 9.9 kWh to 19.9 kWh per stack. The system supports parallel operation of up to six stacks, for a total of 119.9 kWh, making it suitable for residential and small commercial applications alike.
 
The EP Cube includes a built-in hybrid inverter, eliminating the need for a separate unit and reducing installation time. It’s designed for AC-coupled retrofits or new solar + storage installations, and is compatible with most PV systems. With smart energy controls, the EP Cube can be configured for time-of-use shifting, self-consumption, and emergency backup modes.
 
Its slim, low-profile design (just under 8 inches deep) makes the EP Cube one of the most compact systems on the market, and its weather-resistant enclosure allows for indoor or outdoor wall-mounted installations.
